CREATING A GRIMOIRE WITH ADAM
“What is a Grimoire” you might ask? It’s a book of magic spells and invocations, herbal preparations, sigils, rituals, collected items and other spiritual knowledge. Adam show us how to draft our own personal grimoires, discussing best ways to record your spiritual practice. He will show us examples of what can be commonly found in such tomes, and share some pages from his own personal grimoire too.
Bring a blank notebook (or pick one up from Modern Druid) and be ready to get creative! Spells, planetary sigils, and other magical knowledge will be provided as well as writing utensils and light refreshments will be served.

SELF-CARE PRACTICES WORKSHOP
Bodywork therapist Amy Delia and holistic aesthetician Claudia Delia return to Modern Druid to teach some basics of self-care that will have your skin glowing and your breath and heart rate slowing by the end of the evening.
They will each demonstrate a brief and effective protocol designed to support the natural intelligence of the body with hands on guidance for all students. The emphasis here is on the healing power of attuning to your own body, coupled with intentional touch, whether working on yourself or sharing with a loved one. This work induces the restful state of the parasympathetic nervous system which supports optimal functioning of the involuntary processes of the body like breathing, digestion and the circulation of blood, which in turn bolsters immunity and reduces inflammation.
Participants will have the chance to practice these steps on themselves and on each other in pairs, so that they can incorporate these skills into self-care rituals at home and also share with partners, friends and family.
A wonderful gift to yourself as we move deeper into the cooler contractive seasons of fall and winter when all of our body's systems can use a boost! And a mini self-care kit is included to take home.

THE FIRST GALLERY IN JULY WAS A SELL-OUT SUCCESS! So Dawn has agreed to two more galleries this year, September 22nd and December 8th. We hope you will join us.
If you've ever wondered if your loved ones in spirit are still with you, if they are OK, what they may be experiencing, or if they are here with us still, then this is your opportunity to gets answers to those questions, and perhaps even a message of love & hope from them as well.
Dawn will invoke those we love who have crossed over into the light to come forward & offer messages* of love, hope & evidence that they are still very much with us in our everyday lives. She will begin with an introduction and give a brief overview of how spirit communicates through her, followed by 75-90 minutes of spirit connections*. Messages for each person who has a loved one come through for them lasts an average of 7-10 minutes. Not everyone receives a direct message, but if you don’t, you will benefit nonetheless from the experience of the group session by being in spirit with those around you.

Shadow work facilitates a deep and intimate relationship with your core self, your patterns. These are the woven structures our outward self is created from. It is here that we find the Key to unlock those pieces of ourselves, but first we must find the Torch so we can reveal what is there waiting to be seen.
This two-part class will give you the tools to go deeper and explore your Shadow, learn how to cut away what doesn’t serve you, and how to adapt to the changes within.
Each participant will work with at least one pattern, and through meditation and visualization, we will be able to observe, acknowledge, accept, integrate, and release a personal Shadow or pattern.
